How to judge cement silo quality
1. Thickness of the cement silo
The thickness of the cement silo can be designed and customized according to the needs of customers. But it does not mean that the thicker, the better. Generally speaking, the lower half of the steel plate thickness of the cement silo is made of 4mm stainless steel and the upper half is made of 3mm stainless steel.
Of course, due to the specific needs of customers in different regions, it is also possible to design the thickness of the cement silo to fluctuate by 1~2mm above or below this thickness.
2. Dust removal device for cement silo
The cement silo dust removal device is the main equipment for the control and collection of dust in the vertical and horizontal cement silo. To judge whether the performance of the dust removal device of the cement silo is good, it mainly depends on its dust removal area, dust removal effect, and whether it is convenient for maintenance.
3. The sealing performance of the cement silo
It mainly depends on whether the production process of the cement silo is excellent and whether the sealing performance is good, which directly affects the capacity of the cement silo, thereby affecting the quality of the stored materials.
How many of cement silos you need
1. It is affected by by the distance between the construction site of the cement concrete mixing plant and the bulk cement plant. If the distance is close, one can be used. Otherwise, several bulk cement silos need to be used.
2. It is also affected by the kinds of raw materials. If there are other raw materials like fly ash besides the cement, then at least two cement silos need to be used even if the distance to the bulk cement plant is relatively close.
This is for the case where the cement concrete mixing plant does not have high output. If the concrete plant capacity is very large, the number of fly ash tanks and cement tanks should be increased accordingly.
