The central hot mixing plant is mainly composed of cold material feeding system, drying and heating unit, mixing unit, dust removal unit, asphalt supply unit, mineral powder supply unit, finished material storage unit and central control room. Each unit is installed on a separate foundation and driven by an electric motor.
When the central control room issues the power-on command, the cold material in the cold silo is transported to the drying drum through the belt conveyor, and the dried aggregate is transported by the hot material elevator to the vibrating screen for screening. The material falls into each hot material bin.
The aggregates and powders fall into their respective weighing hoppers from their respective chamber doors and are measured by electronic scales, and then put into the mixing tank. The weighed hot asphalt is then sprayed into the mixing tank, and the various mixtures are fully mixed to form a finished asphalt mixture, which is unloaded into the feeding hopper truck.
The conveying, drying, screening of aggregate, the conveying of powder and asphalt are carried out continuously, while the weighing of aggregate, powder, asphalt, mixing of mixture and the transportation of finished materials by hopper truck are carried out periodically.
