A Small Ready Mixed Concrete Batching Plant with Cement Silos

A small ready mixed concrete batching plant generally consist of three parts: batching system, mixing system and control system. The batching system includes batching machine, belt conveyor and weighing system. The mixing system includes a concrete mixer. The control system is the equipment used to control the entire mixing process. These components are integrated together in a compact manner to form an independent production line.

A small or mini concrete batching plant is not a specific model or type of concrete batching plant. The aggregate is discharged from the discharging door of the aggregate bin of the batching machine into the aggregate measuring hopper for measurement. After measurement, it is discharged onto the running flat belt, which is then sent to the bucket elevator.

At the same time, cement and fly ash are transported to their respective metering hoppers by screw conveyors for measurement, and water and admixtures are sent to their respective metering hoppers for measurement by water pumps and admixture pumps respectively.

After the measurement of various materials is completed, the control system issues instructions to start feeding the materials into the concrete mixer in sequence for mixing. After the mixing is completed, the discharge door of the concrete mixer is opened, and the concrete is discharged into the concrete mixer truck through the discharge hopper, and then enters the next working cycle.

The cement silo of the concrete mixing plant is one of its key components. It is used to store and transport cement, fly ash and other raw materials, and its role is very important. Different models of cement silos have different characteristics and application scenarios.

The advantages of the vertical cement silo are small footprint and low cost. The disadvantage is that it is highly prominent. It needs to build a good foundation and is necessary to take windproof, rainproof, lightning protection and other measures. It is also inconvenient for repair and maintenance.

The bolted cement silo is a new type of cement silo that has been molded through modular production and processed and then transported to the construction site and assembled and connected with bolts for use. It occupies a very small area when working and can be easily moved.

Horizontal cement silos can be produced without foundation. The installation of horizontal cement silos is relatively simple. There is no need to lay a foundation. As long as it is placed on a fixed ground surface without tilting and deformation due to gravity, horizontal cement silos are safer to a certain extent.

There are several types of batching plant cement silos: 30t, 50t, 80t, and 100t. As for which type of cement silos matches which model of concrete batching plant, users need to be able to reasonably choose and flexibly configure and select according to their own situations.

Generally, the powder batching system of a small mixing station can be equipped with two cement silos and one fly ash silo. The three powders are transported to the water and liquid mixture through their respective screw conveyors and pumped into the metering hopper.
