Different Types of Batching Plant

Among different types of batching plant, there are some well-known types which are often inquired by the customers: dry batch concrete plant, wet mixing concrete plant, stationary concrete plant and mobile concrete batching plant.
Dry or wet concrete batch plant
Both are used to produce concrete, but a wet concrete plant can produce concrete by itself because it has a twin shaft concrete mixer while a dry concrete plant needs to be paired with a concrete mixer truck.
Dry batch concrete plant is composed of aggregate batching machine, cement supply system, water supply system, cement weighing system, water weighing system, control system and so on. It is mainly used in areas with sparsely populated areas to avoid segregation of wet concrete in the long-distance and long-term non-stop movement in the mixer truck, which will cause the quality of concrete to deteriorate.
Wet concrete mixing plant has two types: bucket lifting and belt conveying. They all have aggregate batching machine, twin-shaft concrete mixer, weighing system, screw conveyor and cement silo. The difference is that for bucket lifting concrete plant, the aggregates are directly lifted from the hopper to the double-shaft mixer; in the belt conveyor cement plant, the aggregate proportioned aggregates will be transported to a waiting bucket.
The dry mixing concrete plant is of high efficiency, convenient operation and stable performance. It always works with the concrete mixer truck. When the concrete feeding is finished, it discharges the aggregate into the feed tank of the concrete truck, and then the water supply system of the concrete truck adds water to the mixing tank, and then mixes the aggregate while walking on the road. This saves time to some extent.
The wet batch concrete plant has advantages of high productivity, high quality, reliable performance, less investment and long service life. It usually chooses twin-shaft concrete mixers, planetary mixers or SICOMA twin-shaft mixers as the mixing host.
Stationary or mobile concrete mixing plant
The general mixing station mainly refers to the stationary concrete plant. It is mainly used for large-scale concrete production.The equipment of the stationary batching plant is mainly equipped with the main structure, mixer, batching machine, cement silo, weighing system, electric system, pneumatic system, aggregate lifting system, and control room. At the same time, the mixing plant must be equipped with mixer trucks, concrete pumps, etc. The system is relatively complicated, but the working ability and coordination ability are good.
Buyers of mobile concrete batching plant generally have two purposes, one is to undertake temporary projects for concrete production for their own use, and the other is to rent out the mobile mixing plant due to its good mobility and convenience. Mobile mixing plants are often seen in temporary projects, roads with long engineering lines, high-speed rail projects, and projects with insufficient construction space.
