The core characteristic of a compact concrete batching plant is its "compactness."
The compact batching plant is a mixing equipment specifically designed to meet medium-sized concrete needs and adapt to space-constrained scenarios, and is often referred to as one of the core types of small concrete batching plants.
Compared to traditional large-scale stationary batching plants, it highly integrates core functional units such as mixing, batching, electrical control, and control room through modular design, significantly reducing the overall size and footprint of the equipment, while also ensuring ease of installation and cost-effectiveness.
The skip type concrete plant (also called a bucket elevator batching plant) is one of the common configuration types of compact concrete batching plants. Its core feature is the use of a hopper + track feeding structure, which lifts the hopper to transport aggregates from the batching machine to the mixing unit. This structure avoids the lateral space occupied by belt conveyors, further compressing the overall size of the equipment, thus becoming one of the mainstream implementation forms of compact batching plants.
The output of skip type batching plant is positioned as "medium volume, high efficiency and stability", mainly covering the needs of small and medium-sized construction. Its theoretical productivity range is usually between 25m³/h and 120m³/h. The specific output varies with different models and depends on the specifications of the matching mixing host. The following common configurations provide the output and core parameters for different models:
- Small models (e.g., HZS25, HZS35): Theoretical production rate is 25-35 m³/h, equipped with small mixers such as the JS750, single discharge volume 750L. They are suitable for small-volume, high-frequency production scenarios such as rural self-built houses and small irrigation projects. A small concrete batch plant can meet local construction needs.
- Medium models (e.g., HZS50, HZS75): Theoretical production rate is 50-75 m³/h, equipped with mixers such as the JS1000 and JS1500, discharge volume 1000-1500L. These are the mainstream models on the market, widely used in medium-sized construction, road and bridge projects, and precast concrete plants. They meet continuous construction needs without the waste caused by excessively large equipment.
- Larger models (such as HZS100 and HZS150): Theoretical production rate is 80-120 m³/h, equipped with large main mixers such as JS2000 and JS3000. Although the output is high, it still adopts a compact structure with hopper lifting and occupies a much smaller area than traditional belt conveyor-type large plants. Therefore, it is still classified as a compact type, suitable for medium-sized engineering projects with high output requirements but limited space.
It is worth mentioning that the output stability of hopper lifting mixing plants also benefits from their structural design. The unique design of the hoppers and tracks enables efficient loading and unloading of aggregates. Combined with a double-ribbon mixing main mixer, it can significantly shorten the production cycle and unloading time, improve equipment turnover efficiency, and produce uniform mixing quality. It can produce various types of concrete, such as plastic concrete and dry-hard concrete, to meet different construction needs.
