Shaft end seal

The shaft end seal of twin shaft concrete mixer has always been a technical problem in the concrete mixer industry. Since the mixing shaft end of the mixer is always in high-load operation, it is a high-wear part, and it is easy to damage the seal and cause slurry leakage.

Sicoma twin shaft concrete mixer innovatively adopts a quadruple shaft end seal, and two steel shaft head protection rings are used between the side mixing arm and the shaft head to prevent coarse sand from entering. There is an air channel in the steel ring, and when air of a certain pressure is passed to the air channel, an air pressure protection pad will be formed at the contact surface between the side mixing arm and the shaft head, so that water and mud will not contact the shaft head, effectively prolonging the life of the concrete mixer.

Floating sealing ring

The floating sealing ring is made of special molybdenum alloy cast iron. After special heat treatment, the sealing steel parts have the characteristics of strong wear resistance, high hardness and strong corrosion resistance, and the service life of the steel parts is greatly extended.

The O-ring that comes with the floating seal ring has a compensation function, which can make the floating seal ring maintain the sealing effect for a long time; this kind of shaft end seal has a simple structure, less wearing parts and low maintenance cost. The service life of sealing parts is as high as 6 to 10 years.

Gearbox

The gearbox is another important part of the concrete mixer. During operation, the bearing, oil seal, impact resistance and overload capacity will have a huge impact on the gearbox. After finishing and grinding treatment, Sicoma gearbox can better cooperate with the smooth operation of the mixer, and also ensure that it has the characteristics of impact resistance and overload resistance, thus ensuring the extension of service life.

In addition, the front shell of the reduction box and the transition sleeve are integrally formed by casting, which reduces the use of bolts and positioning pins and enhances the overall strength. SICOMA's enhanced gearbox is of low noise, more stable two-axis operation and extremely low failure rate.

Mixing arm

The material of the mixing arm affects its service life and cost performance, and the shape and structure of the mixing arm affect the mixing effect, mixing quality and energy consumption of the mixer. The traditional stirring arm is a straight cylindrical structure made of cast iron, which is insufficient in terms of stirring effect, service life and energy consumption.

The main arm of the SICOMA mixer adopts a specially designed streamlined structure; the cross-section of the top of the mixing arm is designed as an elliptical structure with a pointed end. The pointed end can effectively reduce the resistance during mixing, and the thick end ensures the strength of the arm. Its service life is 3 to 5 times that of ordinary stirring arms.

The time required for the SICOMA stirring arm can be reduced from 45s to 30s, the stirring efficiency has increased by 33.34%, the power consumption has been reduced from 59.4kW to 48kW, and the power consumption has been reduced by 19.2%. This innovation effectively solves the key and common technical problems of low stirring efficiency and high stirring energy consumption of traditional linear stirring arms.

The scraper and liner

The scraper and liner are the wearing parts of the mixer, and have always been the components with the highest maintenance cost of the mixing plant equipment. The ordinary mixer has to replace the scraper and the liner when it produces tens of thousands of cubic meters of concrete, which not only affects production, but also brings great cost. For Sicoma twin shaft mixer, it not only doesn’t replace any scrapers and liners, but most of the scrapers and liners wore very little after producing 1.2 million m3 concrete.

Compared with other traditional casting scrapers, SICOMA high wear-resistant alloy scrapers have 2-3 times higher wear resistance and 1.5 times longer service life than ordinary scrapers. The outer surface of the SICOMACO wear-resistant alloy liner is a wear-resistant material layer composed of composite chromium carbide and niobium carbide alloy, and its service life is 3 to 5 times that of the ordinary liner, which greatly improves the wear resistance of the parts and reduces the wear resistance of the lining.
